The Beginning
About 4 months ago, I had an inspiration to make designs. Back then, I didn't have intentions of making clothing and especially not selling clothing, but here I am!
For background, I'm a sophomore in college, so my mind is often clouded with brainstorming how I can finish college with little to no debt. I wanted to try Amazon resale, then affiliate marketing, then many other things that I saw on Instagram.
Honestly, I had no idea what any of these things were and YES, I did research them... I even attended an online workshop. However, I believe none of the details stuck because I genuinely didn't care about what they were doing... there was no appeal to me besides the payouts which in some cases were unreliable.
Turning Inspirations into Reality
I felt defeated, but then I tapped into my talents and passions. I woke up one day in my college dorm and had a random urge -from the holy spirit- to design different things. Eventually, I landed on t-shirts. At first, they were just going to be for family and friends, but once I realized that I ACTUALLY enjoyed it... I decided to do more.
The shirt below is the first design I ever made... "The Sculptor"
My inspiration for "The Sculptor" is the gym. I have been working out on and off since I was in middle school, but I wasn't consistent until about a year ago when weightlifting took over my Instagram feed. Throughout the months, I have come to believe that we should work on our health to glorify God and reflect is love for us through our love for ourselves.
The Purpose
The Holy Attire started off as a way to pay off my college debt, but now it is a way to express myself while giving back to the community. I don't stress about where my money will come from anymore and I'm done investing time into side hustles that I don't care about because I know God is ultimately in control.
In an effort to help spread God's love, 15% of all profits go toward various charities including The Salvation Army, Compassion International, World Vision, Catholic Relief Services, and more. Customers also have the ability to request their donation to be sent to a specific charity.
Thank YOU!
Currently, I am working on new designs and I am constantly improving my website and all of its components.
